I recently bought a new 60GB HD for my XBox 360 and it came with a headset and a 3 month XBox Live Gold Subscription. Since I already have an XBox Live Gold account, I have no need for the subscription card. So, here’s the deal – I’m going to give it away.

If you want this 3 Month XBox Live Gold subscription all you have to do is write a blog post with a link back to this post (by the end of April 2010), describing why you should get it. I have trackbacks turned on so once your blog is published, it should show up in the comments. I will pick the winner at random and it will then be mailed to them once I receive their address.

If you have no idea what the title of this blog post is in reference to, then you need to check out this.

An XBox Live Moderator going by the name The Pro apparently got a touch of the bannings, and threatened to drop the hammer on an XBox Live member who said they got banned for no reason. A heavily edited version of the video submitted by the XBox Live member blamed The Pro for overheavy moderating.

A new video has shown up, which includes some of the audio footage the original video omitted. This video includes an admission of using mods, and threatening and abusive language towards another XBox Live member.

The XBox Live user got what was coming to them if you ask me.

It always fascinates me to see who’s been playing what kind of games – call it an odd curiosity. So when Major Nelson reveals the most played games on XBox Live, I always go check it out. What’s even more fascinating is the end of year figures, but we’ll have to wait a couple of months for those.
