3 Month XBox Live Gold Subscription Give-Away

I recently bought a new 60GB HD for my XBox 360 and it came with a headset and a 3 month XBox Live Gold Subscription. Since I already have an XBox Live Gold account, I have no need for the subscription card. So, here’s the deal – I’m going to give it away.

If you want this 3 Month XBox Live Gold subscription all you have to do is write a blog post with a link back to this post, describing why you should get it. I have trackbacks turned on so once your blog is published, it should show up in the comments. I will pick the winner at random and it will then be mailed to them once I receive their address.

Activision Fires Head of Infinity Ward

Rumors were flying around yesterday that bouncer types (who turned out to be Activision heavies) had shown up at the Infinity Ward offices without notice as to what they were up to. As often happens once the dust has settled, the truth comes out.

Thanks to James Walker over at Binge Gamer, you can get the complete information. Here’s the mini version:

  • Infinity Ward have yet to be paid anything in Royalties for Modern Warfare 2
  • There were ‘breaches of contract by two senior employees at Infinity Ward’

Modern Warfare 2 is a fine game, and I play it online regularly. I’m not going to try and make sense of this situation, because there’s two sides to every story but I sincerely hope that those who are currently employed at Infinity Ward remain there.
